Privacy Policy

This is the tiny privacy policy for this tiny corner of the web. The short version is this: I am not trying to stalk you, profile you, sell your data, build an empire of surveillance capitalism, or figure out what brand of cereal you emotionally identify with.

This page exists mostly because websites are expected to have one of these things now, and LittleLink politely nudged me to edit the default file instead of pretending it does not exist.

Analytics

I may use basic analytics to see whether anyone is actually clicking around here, where traffic is coming from, and whether some random link I posted into the void managed to find another human being.

I am interested in broad patterns, not personal dossiers. Think: “someone visited from a browser somewhere” rather than “Gary from accounting has returned.”

  • Personal Data: basic usage data, referral information, browser/device details, and other standard web analytics crumbs.
  • Purpose: curiosity, site maintenance, and mild statistical nosiness.

External Content

Some links or embedded things may point to external services. Once you leave this site, you are wandering into someone else’s yard. Their privacy policy applies, not mine.

External platforms may collect data even if I personally would rather the internet be a quieter, less hungry machine. That is, unfortunately, the web we inherited.

  • Personal Data: whatever those external services collect according to their own policies.
  • Suggestion: assume large platforms know more than they should and behave accordingly.

Hosting and Infrastructure

This site has to live somewhere. That means a hosting provider, servers, logs, files, and all the deeply unromantic machinery that allows a little page of links to appear on your screen.

Server logs may exist. They are not exciting. Mostly they are the digital equivalent of footprints in dust: timestamps, IP addresses, requested pages, browser details, and similar technical debris.

  • Personal Data: server logs and basic technical information needed to keep the site functioning.
  • Purpose: hosting the site, fixing problems, and making sure the lights stay on.

Contact

If something here concerns you, feel free to reach out. I cannot promise a team of lawyers will descend from the rafters, but I can promise there is an actual person behind this page.
